Carrie Karki, our Founder & CEO, believed that businesses deserved more than traditional, project-based marketing services. WhiteBox Marketing was founded in 2018 to become a strategic business partner rather than simply a marketing vendor. Since then, we’ve helped businesses achieve sustainable growth through strategy, alignment, and purposeful branding.
“I believed there was a better way to partner with businesses,” said Karki. “Marketing has never been about selling services; it’s about listening first, understanding the vision, and helping organizations grow in meaningful ways.”
The past eight years have brought WhiteBox Marketing considerable success. Our team grew from a few people to a full-scale team of experts in all marketing professions, allowing us to effortlessly execute our full-service approach. In 2025, we expanded our in-person client service reach by opening a second location in Brainerd, MN. We’re proud to represent a variety of industries, including healthcare, hospitality, education, manufacturing, and more. The WhiteBox Marketing team remains good stewards of the community, hosting several free events over the years to benefit local businesses. Our agency is a proud winner of several Central Minnesota American Advertising Awards, though receiving accolades is far from why we do what we do. What hasn’t changed is our commitment to doing the right thing by their partners.
